Just wanted to see some awesome screenshots of different games by you people. I´ll start with Gears of War which has been tweaked by me to increase the visual overall quality of the game. Just look at some of these screens taken from my desktop computer.

You really ought to thumbnail those things, there's not much excuse when Imageshack (Like XS.to) gives you the link code. Just because I have a 20Mbit line doesn't mean I want to load 30MB of your pictures each time I open the thread.

Not trying to be a hater, but this is a notebook forum, and you show screenies from your desktop? They look great, but just sayin....

Is it possible to use timg-tags or some such? This is ridiculous. It seems more like a thread where the purpose is to go "look at me, I am able to link to big pictures".
I really don't want to scroll that much both down and from side to side in an effort to read what people write.

    Please do something about it.

    Edit:

Both XS.to and Imageshack give you thumbnail linking codes, there's no need to even mess with code. Just look at my post, it works fine.

i'll throw in a few to make you all jealous of my uber-cool games and computer. i payed a lot of money for this rig, but it totally pays off when i can play the latest video games at a high resolution and in great quality. and now, behold my awesomeness.

first up a beautiful shot of the space shuttle taking off.

next up is a great screenie where i happened upon a mythological monster:

and then of course Mario moonlighting on Mt. Rushmore:

finally, the greatest moment in video gaming ever: skydiving down the Everfrost waterfall.

oh, and just to make all of you more jealous, i can run this game absolutely maxed out at 60fps  now run off to mommy and cry about your lame computers and games ;)

    ^^^That^^^

    This thread fails.

FYI, these are just in-game screenshots which is really nothing special. Besides, there are specialized websites, such... as oh I don't know.... gamespot?, that contain a plethora of screenies. Furthermore, did you know that any screen capture will only look as good as the capabilities of the viewer's display? Food for thought.

As funny as the images of Pilotwings 64 are, they're liable to get this thread locked, seeing as it's being run in Project64.

Hey, I bought CoR today too! Haven't bothered installing it yet, tho'. But I'm pretty much sure that I'll be seeing that screen as well.

Bought it because of the included Butcher Bay full game with enhancements. :)

Yeah, same reason I bought it. It's one of the very few games I've played through a few times. I think I will start this one with Athena though, then go back to Butcher Bay when done.

It really depends on the EULA for each particular game in question. The majority that I have stipulate a back-up is allowed.

Ah, when I get home ill have to post some nice screenys for you guys.

Until then, enjoy this Fallout 3 screen from my last laptop that is now dead due to a faulty GPU.

It was a 8600M GT, GDDR3 of course (Not nearly as good as what I have now).

However, It did a fantastic job in FO3.

*I did have to OC it for it to play the way it did. But it did play FO3 smooth at about 20-40 fps.

    It was 475/600 oc'd to 700/750.

No, seriously I don't understand what you like about those high res screen shots the others post. Yes, they are impressive but not awesome.
Sadly I haven't installed this game at the moment, but in my opinion The Longest Journey would give you really awesome screenshots.
