I currently have a hp pavilion tx2000 with 3gb ram. I noticed on dxdiag that the integrated ATI graphics has 1600MB memory. I looked through the BIOS and saw no option to change shared memory. Is it possible to change it at all? My laptop keeps loading things nonstop and I see the loading light blinking all the time... Any help?

Why would one be interested in shredding video memory? I can think of far better things to do with it. :p

    I believe it's "up to" 1600 MB

4GB of RAM and Win7/64 bit will likely solve your problem. Could swapout the HDD for a Momentus XT if the HDD is a relic.
