    Hey all,
Bit of a problem here; every time I try to play anything more intensive than Starcraft my computer has a tendency to become unresponsive and requires a hard boot. I have over 20 gigs on each of my hard drives free, so I doubt it's from that. I generally don't have much if anything running in the backround, so it also shouldn't be anything like that.

Any ideas? I'm debating doing a fresh install very, very soon, but I'd like a solution in the meantime.

Run HWMonitor ( http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php) during a gaming session, but BEFORE the system locks up, exit the game and take a look at the max temps you hit. I agree with everway, sounds like a temperature problem.
