I have been doing alittle gaming with my ThinkPad T61 14.1 Its a pretty stout machine. I know your laughing at it but it works. The T61 has a T8300, Hitachi 7200 rpm HD, Quadro nvs 140m and 2gig of ram.
The Quadro has the Geforce 8400gt drivers installed and when overclocked around 600/900 I get 50fps on Fallout3 on med detail same on left for dead. I was suprised at the performance i was getting. So my question is will i benefit from upgading my ram to 4 gig or would it be just be a waist of money.

    Thanks,

DDR2 is currently quite cheap, so just go with the 4GB which would allow your laptop to do a better job at multi-tasking and possible save some battery life as you don't access your HDD twice as much as u do with 2GB RAM.
