Sadly, we can't bulldoze the city and rebuild it in a more logical fashion. It's a great city, but it SUCKS to drive in.

LOL what? I don't even find that funny as it's the norm here in Britain. All our cities look like Boston in their road layout (and with roundabouts too!). Try driving our roads, you'd love it :D

That's what SimCity really needs - roundabouts!

Most American cities are laid out on grids. It's nice. Boston is the exception, not the rule, here. Also, it's funnier if you read the second half in a south Boston accent (culturally, an equivalent of south Boston might be something like Belfast). Boston, particularly south Boston, is pretty coarse culturally. Watch The Boondock Saints. It's everything you need to know.

Side-note: is that a krogan hang-gliding in your profile picture, or what?

SimCity review: One week later, time doesn’t heal all wounds | Ars Technica

pretty good review, I wont buy this game until its actually complete, I really disliked the fact that there were no subways, now there is a large problem with connecting cities, and the AI problems that I knew already

To sum it up, tiny maps, transportation is a mess, warning system is broken, AI doesnt work, always on gameplay

It seems just way too rushed for me

Grids? Bah, booooring! Where's the individuality? Where's the uniqueness? Where's the challenge? :p
    Hehe I kid, I kid.

My pic is of Songbird from Bioshock Infinite but yeah, I guess it does look a lot like a hang gliding Krogan - dammit now I won't be able to unsee that!

Some people don't have a choice if they posted their true age on Origin and are younger than the ESRB :D
Cause EA will add those automatically.

I'm not sure, but it seemed from the FAQ that you might be able to combine the cheaper ones?

I'm not sure if I want MOH or Dead Space 3. Leaning towards MOH at the moment.

It's between NFS:MW and DS3 for me. I liked the previous DS games. Haven't played a NFS game before but saw the good reviews.

    Tricky one, this is.

I doubt it. I suspect that the offer is only for people who preordered. People buying today know what they're getting into.

Well guys I can confirm that you can buy it now and receive this offer. I went with MoH War fighter. I've heard good and bad from it, and I already have BF3. By the way, so far I am extremely addicted to Sim City. I have never played a Sim City game before, (They always looked too slow paced and boring, but this one definitely isn't) but I am loving this one.

If you buy it through Origin, it should be automatically registered. If you buy a physical copy, you need to register it through Origin.

Is there any word on whether they will fix the agent ai? As it stands agents fill vacancies strictly on a first available basis. I.e. A sim leaving for work goes to the first open job regardless of where they went yesterday and, when they go home they go to the first open home. This is what causes crazy traffic etc.

If it gets fixed I'm very interested in this game, but not as is.

There will be 45678 future DLCs. Each will add 1 more acre to city size, and each will need to be purchased separately for $60.

Knowing how it works, you can mitigate traffic by creating escapes, diagonal medium density roads that connect two high-density roads. These will only get used up by sims who reach the end of the industrial line and can't find a job, or by sims who got a job far away and take the most direct route home.
