    Sim Type Game Suggestion

    I'm gonna get the Gateway P-6860FX from Best Buy and was wanting a sim type game to play. I'm not a big fan of the making a person and having them do stuff game as much as I am the build a city, railroad, theme park ect. type game. Is there any like massive city builder type sim game or something along those lines?

    I'm pretty much set on my other games. The whole blizzard lineup with WoW, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Starcraft and Starcraft 2 to come. Then Call of Duty 4 and the Orange Box for FPS. This sim game will be my last game until Starcraft 2 probably.

    well theres CivCity 4 im not sure how good it is though, look at some videos on youtube. i believe there are others but thats the first that came to mind.

    Sim City 4 is dated but has solid gameplay. Civilisation 4 is not quite considered a part of the simulation genre IMO. The Tycoon series is probably a safe bet for the OP.

    Tycoon is a sub genre, not a series. I'd suggest Railroad Tycoon, Sid Meier's Railroads, Poltical Machine (Stardock game), and SimCity 4.

    And of course, when it comes out, Spore, though it is looking like it may be more in hte vein of Civilization.
