I just wanted to ask if anyone has played SimCity 4 on the dv1000. The computer I have now is an HP (Compaq) nx9010 and I know that its graphics card or whatever can't be better than whats in the dv1000 and SC4 plays fine with only slight lag (more mem would prob fix that) on a mix of medium and high settings. So does anyone know if it will play well on a dv1000 with 512mb of ram? or should I buy another stick?
Thanks

I haven't played this, but the Dv4000 has the Intel intergrated 900 series graphics... pretty much awful for games. I suspect more RAM won't change that. Better off with a Dv4000 with the X700 card, then you can play almost anything.

CD/DVD-Rom Speed: 8X
Hard Drive Space: 1 gig plus space for saved games
Video: 16 MB video card, DirectX 7 compatible
Sound: DirectX 7.0 compatible
Input: Keyboard, mouse
Recommended System Requirements
CPU: 1 GHz or faster
RAM: 256 MB or more
Video: 32 MB or greater supported Direct 3D video card
Supported 3D Chipsets
* NVIDIA Geforce4, Geforce3, Geforce 2, Geforce 256

I don't think you'll have a problem running that on a GMA900 - it is better than the Radeon 7000 or GeForce 2.
