Well I have a pretty simple question. Since I've switched to XP from Vista I've been trying to find the best drivers for my 8600M GT. Occassionally the drivers I've chosen will freeze up my computer when I try to load a game and I'll have to cut it off manually. Sometimes when loading a game the drivers will cut off but the computer will still be running. My question is this: Can this harm my hardware? If it will I'll jsut switch back to Vista. Payed 1200 bucks for this computer and I need it to last me at least 4 years so I don't want to risk messing it up.

    Thanks,
    -Taylor

No, and get the correct drivers and you should be fine. Your hardware should be fine.

Nope, those drivers can't harm your hardware.

I have the correct drivers, they just seem buggy.

    Thanks guys.
