How does the S-Video Out signal translate from a wide screen notebook to a regular 4:3 TV? What if for example I want to do karaoke output to a TV?

In all my experiences you are limited to 1024x768 resolution but don't hold me to that. S-video is pretty out dated and it can be a little fuzzy to say the least. That still doesn't stop me from using an S-video to do a bit of gaming on my TV with my lappy, if you play with the settings you can get it to look pretty nice.

    S-Video only carries a 480i signal.
