Sooo, I played sims 3 once and now I'm hooked and I have to have it lol. My hp pavillion just took a crap so now I'm in the market for a new laptop. I've been looking for one that fits the minimum requirements for the game (I can 110% guarantee that Sims 3 will be the only game I play on this comp as I am in no way a gamer). I don't know very much about computers (hince the name "ihavenoidea" lol) so I was hoping that you guys could help me out. Here's the specs (copied and pasted from website, sorry if there's more info than you need) on one laptop that I am seriously considering:

The Sims 3 will run fine on that computer; it's really not that graphics hungry a game and if you've looked at screenshots, there isn't that much of a difference between low and high settings yet it increases performance significantly.

The game runs fine on my sister's gma 4500mhd equipped laptop so you shouldn't have any troubles with it on that configuration.

Sims 3 and its expansions run absolutely fine on high settings on my ancient siggy laptop. So...yeah, your's will be okay, too.
