    Single Nvidia 680m vs Dual 7970m

    Does anybody know what performance difference would be?

    Once again, single Nvidia 680m vs Crossfire AMD 7970M.

    This purely in terms of gaming. Both MMO's and FPS.

    Crossfire will outperform the single 680M. However, for some games, Crossfire will not work and this will result in utilization of only one card. Therefore, the 680M can outperform Crossfire 7970M's depending on the game.

    This is my understanding of it. I am not an AMD owner, so I don't know for certain. Someone else will have to clarify.

    Can an single 7970 outperform a GTX680m SLI? Of course not... so this is the same thing. Crossfire can vary though depending on the game but still outperform anything out there.

    Get the dual 7970m's unless you plan to SLI 680m either now or in the future at somepoint.

    Crossfire should give an extra 30-40% dependent on game.
