I've been enjoying the heck out of SSE, and the mod support is already amazing. (working on a mod myself actually)

What are your thoughts on the new Skyrim Special Edition?

Thought about giving it a go, but don't have time to install all the mods...

I'm still playing the original. Was thinking of giving it up altogether my FPS was down to like 20-25 with over 200 mods. Buuuut, with the addition of my two new buddies, back up to 60 FPS and looking at more mods and quests. This game is like crack.

Lol, 300+ hrs, and still haven't finished main game (damn those mods).

Ah yes.... you're still a newblood. I've over 1,200 hours in Skyrim according to steam LOL

SSE has much better performance by the way.

I'm hoping the game being 64-bit opens the floodgates for some amazing texture and beautification mods.

Questionable. IMO Witcher 3 stock looks better than any Skyrim mod.

Modded Skyrim can actually look very good with all the mods, and perform quite well too. However that's about it. Even with mods animations, quests, story, gameplay are far from perfect...

I am still waiting on a port of the "Recemenu" mod for SSE. You can truly customize your character is just about every facet imaginable.
