Paypal is not available.

Small guide to how to pay, for people who forgot to change the site's language to English
1) hover your mouse over the yellow button with the price. When a drop-down menu appears, click on the number next to the Mastercard/Visa logo


2) A message will appear telling that it will redirect you to RBK Money's website, click on the button


3) On RBK Money's page fill out the required fields and click on the green button


4) A few seconds later when the card has been processed and charged, you will get a link that will take you back to the Store's webpage with your Steam key, click on it.

(The price that you will see while paying is NOT 500 USD, it is 500 Russian Rubles!)

Doesn't work for me, I get this from RBK:

When I click the link, no window opens and a new page just says authentication failed (only English on page) and I wouldn't know this password anyway. Not worth the hassle.

very tempting! i heard this game was pretty good. should be a great purchase if any of u guys are into 'Internal Affairs' or 'Young & Dangerous'.

How are the graphics on this game. I dont want to get this game if it doesnt look graphical good....id rather get it for a console if it doesnt have good graphics to begin with. Ive tried looking up reviews on this game but they always seem to show console footage...and i wasent really impressed

It looks ok. I wasn't blown away with the graphics. It's still worth buying though. Graphics aren't everything...

The graphics are a lot better on the PC, you have more settings and the frame rate will always be smoother. if you want to see PC footage, try searching 'Sleeping Dogs HD textures' on youtube. I don't think reviews can ever show its full potential though.

 

Rins with alot of issues on PC, after 10 minutes im still tweaking the laptop to get it working. Nightmare.

 

And yet I ran it on the first go with no issues. YMMV.

More like pointing out that one should not make blanket statements when it's something that's particular to one's own machine, as I, too, had no trouble running the game first time.

 

Not all, ive read various forums where people are having issues with the game.

Problems in abundance for this game.

I guess this is the same as it was with LA Noire. I had no problem running it, while it was a nightmare for some people.

Total Biscuit, whilst not AMAZED by the actually graphical fidelity of the game he noted that the sheer amount of detail on the PC version was brilliant.

He also noted that it currently runs a bit funky on Nvidia cards currently (as it is an AMD optimised game) and he runs 2 desktop 680's in SLI format.

ANYWAY, if anyone is having trouble enabling the Hi Res texture pack, Navigate to (C: ) Or (D : ) (depending where you have steam installed)> Program Files (x86) Steam> Steam Apps> Common> Sleeping Dogs> Data> Display Settings.xml

Drag it to desktop, change to a .txt document, open and edit High Res textures from >0< to >1<. This will force it to enable the textures. Change it back from .txt to .xml and drag it back to (C : )> Program Files (x86)> Steam>Steam Apps>Common>Sleeping Dogs>Data and copy replace if it asks you to.

You can do this for all settings, btw, if LIKE MEEEE (see no blanket statement) every option you select keeps reverting back when you exit.

Just pay attention because some of them are region locked.
Translate the page and read the description to check that.

Well, at least it worked for me when BF3 was region locked on release day. Not sure about Steam games.

 

No sadly. It'll notice once you try to activate, also some games are not able to change language.. thus the language remaining on Russian

Just to update. I bought Sleeping Dogs, which is region free on yuplay, and it worked fine, i also bought Dark souls, which is region locked to russia, according to the website, and it also worked fine, in Uk.
