The part about melee attacks having fatigue is really interesting. Does this mean the end of melee spamming as we known it? Also, I'm glad that the Boomer can now vomit through the common infected.

Wow, that would really suck if it happened to me.
-
Versus just got a lot more interesting.
-
i think this is gonna make it too easy to be infected. especially at the melee spam parts (pretty much anywhere when everyone goes into a corner)

Waiting for the elevator in No Mercy is the prime example why this update is a welcome change. No more piling up behind that hospital bed in the corner.
-
I wish they would just block off that corner. And playing with melee fatigue is painful when your the last 2 alive//separated from team//etc...

Melee was always overused. It's MUCH too powerful. The original intent of versus was to see which team could get the furthest, not what team has the most amount of health at the end which is what it's getting to now. Versus was MUCH too easy as a survivor, your supposed to feel like your helpless so you guys need to work together, that never happened because you could always bash spam and were untouchable by anything but the tank.

Well, I have yet to play the game since update. We'll see how this affects gameplay...

Is anyone else having a problem as infected now? I just tried it in a few different servers, and the stupid game instructor won't turn off, everytime I'm about to spawn as infected, I keep getting each type's tutorial page thing if you know what I mean. It's extremely annoying because I have to click twice, or three times on one of the infected's. I've tried tuning on and off the game instructor but nothing works..

People wont use melee all the time; that means that I can safely pounce people without being stop midair... good. However, does it solve the cornering/closet problems? No... In my opinion, this update just makes the game even more annoying as survivor.
