Anyone have a list of smaller size notebooks with 9800 series GPU's in them. I was looking at the Asus G50 but it is actually a little bit larger than a standard 15.4 inch laptop.

Alienware m15x is 15.4" as well, and lighter than the Clevo.

You're not going to find a "small" notebook with a 9800.

Asus has one? I wasn't aware anyone else was making a 15.4" or smaller with a 9800 series in it other than Alienware or Clevo. Link it please!

Note the $1250 one has only a 1366x768 screen, which isn't really that big of a problem... but if you absolutely MUST have higher, then expect to pay more and grab the non-BB version (X1) with the 9800m GS.

(the 9800m GS is a downclocked GTS)

FYI, the ASUS G50V is almost as big as a 17" notebook, it's not really a 15.4" chassis. The Sager NP8660/Alienware m15x are noticeably smaller.

Yeah the Asus G50 is a bit wider than usual 15.4 laptops, but don't worry it weights like a 15.4 laptop.

7.3lbs is right in between the average weight of a 17" and that of a 15.4"... But regardless, the screen resolution on the Asus is pretty awful for the size.

The BB one isn't bad at all, just lower screen resolution...
Honestly, I am not one bit bothered by it.
If you would be, then get the Newegg one.

Can't beat the $1100 BB price tag last week though...

Yeah people overexaggerate the screen of the BB version. Its rather good actually.

Besides, having low res allows us to play at native res all games, and will continue to be like that for next year! heh :p

and yeah, at $1099dlrs for an nvodia 9800M GS can't be beat.
