    Smite beta has begun. You can sign up and try and wait for a free key or buy in for as low as 8$.

    It's a 3rd person perspective MOBA, so if you like LoL, DotA, HoN tactics with mmorgp pvp style, it's pretty fun. It takes a little getting used to, but I think it has great potential. One of the major highlights for me is the difference in being aware in avoiding or setting up ganks from the jungle. In 3rd PoV you cant see behind you and side vision is limited so it feels much more tense when you aren't by your tower.

    It's only 1.5gigs so its quick to download. I'd like to see more people playing, so come check it out!

    Oh and btw, there is a novice match making system so you don't get lumped in with really experienced people right away. You have to "graduate" from novice status to join normal games. And there is also a practice mode where you can play any character, which helps you decide on whether or not you want to buy(through real money or in-game points) a character beside the 5 starting ones. If you opt for the 8$ buy in(includes 3 beta keys), that gives you enough points to buy 2 additional characters.
