Get Games - Downloadable Contentment
Great price for a new game! Other places like Steam have it for $45. I rarely buy Preorders unless it's a good game at a great sale price.

I'm interested but have never heard of get games.... a quick google search is tough as "get games" obviously has a ton of unrelated results...
This a legit service? I'm assuming I'd just be buying the game key from them and then and activating on Steam? Thanks for the info and lead, I'm gonna try and find some more information on them.
Really interested in the game, I loved the demo! -
Its legit enought i suppose, as i bought Sonic Generations for cheap there a while back when they had a sale.
It also seems that Sniper Elite V2 might be Steamworks enabled. -
Cool, thanks for the additional info. I found some more information on them and they do appear legit. It does appear the release date will be Friday, April 4 through these guys, where as on Steam it is tomorrow, April 1st, at least for the US.
While that wasn't a big deal, I for some reason could not use PayPal for my purchase and they were requiring a credit card instead... and that is a problem as I like the extra layer of security pay pal provides as opposed to direct CC transactions.
Apparently they do take Paypal, but a few others are having the same problem over on the Steam boards with this particular pre-order sale... not sure why.
There's what I found out, thanks again for the heads up. -

I got the activation code today to download and play it from Steam. Maybe GetGames gave it to me early because I'm from America, and USA's release date is today.

Thanks again for this link, just tried again, and it let me use Paypal, and as soon as I finished the transaction I was instantly emailed the keys for the game and also the exclusive bonus content. Downloading now, for $20 cheaper than Steam's current price without the extra content included.
For anyone else wondering or reading, Get Games did deliver exactly as promised for a great price. And as Inspired mentioned, keys at least for those in the US are delivered and redeemable on Steam instantly. -

Loved the demo and definitely plan to buy this one, just want to make sure I can use a code to download it from Steam. -

"Your unique activation key for Sniper Elite V2 Pre Order is XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"
However, when I entered it into "Activate A Product on Steam" within the Steam client, it says "The Product Code You've Entered Is Not Valid"
I tried removing the hyphens and still no luck.
And yes I'm from the US, with US delivery address and US IP. I opened a support ticket with Get Games, but I suppose I can only hope that my CD Key will work after Friday? -

Maybe you didn't read your activation email correctly, and you put in the dlc code first before the game activation code.
I initialy activated with the activation code, downloaded and played the Prologue, but I was looking in the program where to put in my dlc code - there was nowhere to put it. So I put the DLC code in the Activate a Game - Steam stuff and it worked.
I played the game and it's nice enough action and graphics, but I hate that it's a checkpoint savegame system with no quicksaves.
I might even get the old $2.49 Sniper Elite as an old game to play on an old E1705 laptop. -
Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Thanks for the heads up by the way: I purchased this game and SS3 from Get Games, using Paypal, and in under a minute I had gotten 2 separate emails from them with codes (including a pre-order code for Sniper V2. I then activated my code + pre-order code through Steam, and am now downloading the game(s). Make sure you register the game code before the preorder one.
Thanks again, this is definitely legit -
I also just purchased this game from GetGames. Everything went smooth. Was sent an email with instructions- very clear ones I might add. I then activated everything on steam with no problem.

I got one email with subject line "Order placed. Order number XXXXX." This email did not contain any activation code, only the receipt and order number.
I got a second email with subject line "Get Games Product Information:

I am so glad I bought this game, but it is a tough somewhat realistic game. I'm already stuck in the 2nd mission and you gotta be good to survive. The graphics are awesome, and it's sure different from MW3 or Battlefield 3.
Here's the 2nd mission I'm stuck at, this guy play it kinda good even though he got kill a few times.
