anybody kno if this game's gonna be good? I saw it coming soon on Steam from like a month ago and the cover looked cool. It was also on one of the top sellers like a week ago. But you never judge a game by its cover :p

Read the preview on gamespot a few months ago, if you like playing Splinter Cell/Hitman/Thief but with the whole emphasis on a big rifle, cover and proper placement, then the game is a good buy.

Not a steam deal at this time, therefore maybe in Games but not the steam thread.

    Thanks,

I like sniper games, but haven't found a decent one yet. Sniper Elite was ok, but a bit frustrating because usually if you missed, you were fubar.

the game does look promising but i think im gonna have to hold back and hear a few user reports before committing to the game, i also like sniper games, if this game is as much about setting up kills and positioning yourself well as it is about the kills themselves then bring it on.

Right. I just don't want it to be a game where if you miss your target you gotta start all over again. I always thought a Splinter Cell type sniper game would be cool, in a somewhat open environment. Have perches set up throughout the map so you could plan your attack any how you'd like. And in addition to just sniping require some stealth knife, silenced pistol, or sleeper holds while scouting out and/or setting up your attack.

now that would be a good game, and wouldn't it be nice to not only have it in a jungle setting, i mean wars and assassinations do happen in cities as well ;)
