    It's actually X360 timed-exclusive .. I'll be getting it another way for my X360. :p

All of the "Tales of" games have been a hit, since early PS2 times. All the GBA remakes sucked.
PSP version - Tales of Radiant Mythology was one of the best.

They still haven't said anything about a PS3 version.

Yeah but they also almost confirmed a month ago that Team Symphonia was already working on something else. It will probably come somewhen but it will take a long time.

I'm looking forward to this month's X360 sales in Japan. I know ToV (including X360 20GB ToV bundle) pulled 100k on first day. That's a lot if you consider that Microsoft had only sold ~650k X360 in Japan before that.

I heard it was one of the, if not THE worst tales games(nothing but grinding and fetch quests). Reason I didn't buy it was because I was unanimously told NOT to get it, lol.

As for Tales... meh... never really liked them much. Hope Symphonia 2 wins me over.

From what I gathered, Symphonia 2 is among the worst too.... Famitsu said ToV's the best one.

It is a grind-fest; feels like playing an mmo but without your friends in real-time to motivate you with their abridged typing. However the game's world system and battle system weren't the problem; its just the lack of a solid story when you try to make a hybrid via all the Tales game characters.

I'm a big Tales series fan too, I had played the Tales of Destiny for the PS1, didn't even know what I was buying I only liked the jewel case's cover, and boy was I surprised about the game soon after.

It's been released in NA now. Critics say it's the best in the series and it's now #2 on gamespot's "most popular" list.

Gamespot "most popular" changes everyday. :p
Most of the critics give it score 7~8 out of 10.

Not bad. Might actually get it.

Though according to MetaCritic a PSP game (Tales of Eternia) and NGC game Tales of Symphonia have recived better scores.

However, a jRPG Infinite Undiscovery has it's first reviews and it's very mediocre they say. :/
