There's so many games coming down the pipe that I want to buy. I don't know which ones to get first. I'm quite strapped for cash and most likely will be for some time to come, so I will have to pace myself.

It also looks like Starcraft 2 DOES have a chance of being released Q1 2010. Here's what I'm looking forward to, what about you?

    (1) Mass Effect 2 - Jan 26
    (2) Star Trek Online - Feb 2
    (3) Bioshock 2* - Feb 9
    (4) Aliens vs. Predator* - Feb 16
    (5) Splinter Cell Conviction* - Feb 23
    (6) Battlefield Bad Company 2* - Mar 2
    (7) S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat - March sometime
    (8) Command and Conquer 4 - Mar 16
    (9) Battlefield 1943* - March sometime
    (10) Starcraft II* - Q1 2010???
    (11) Assassin's Creed II - Q1 2010??

Out of those, the ones with the asterisk* I will definitely get. Others are most likely, or wait until cheap. But even if you consider $40 each, that's $440! Ouch!

Why is BF 1943 taking so long to come out...anyways anyone else hear about EA shutting down a bunch of servers (09' games)? Makes me nervous about BC2 and 1943.

If Starcraft 2 is anywhere as ground breaking and addicting as the first game that is the only PC game i need all year, Lol.

Hopefully only $20, considering the cost on the consoles was that too.

I agree with you there. Of all the games I've ever played only Starcraft, Descent 2, Operation Flashpoint, C&C Generals, Falcon 4, and Battlefield 2 have consumed probably 90% of my total playing time.

Out of those the only absolute must buy for me is Bioshock 2. I will likely get AvP and SC2 at some point too, but Bioshock is daBomb imo. I am kind of tired fo Splinter Cell so I'll probably skip it unless it is somehow amazing and new? And I have AC2 on PS3 so no need to wait... I just need time to get to it with all the other games I have right now! :D

Yes I know but it's all so meh to me now. I guess the novelty has worm thin on me after playing them all many times. Actually, I lied. I didn't finish SCDA because it was a piece of garbage, lol. Anyways...

    DARK VOID

Another game I am looking forward to, but will likely not be getting right away. Jet pack, Nathan Drake, Flying saucers, gun fights and music by BSGs Bear McCreery! Count me in. :)

i dont think starcraft can be expected to come out in Q1 2010. if you look at blizzard history, they will have a beta coming soon (january or February is optimistic). the beta usually lasts 5-6 months so they can change/add units and fine tune the balance between the 3 races. i would be very happy if we saw a june release for the game. dont be disappointed if it doesnt come out in march is all im getting at here.

Just started the first mass effect on saturday. I'm close to finish with 8 hours playtime logged. Well maybe not finish but 3/4ths of the way at least. This is with no side quests at all. Either way, you can probably get through it

I just recently kicked the WoW habit, 5 years of play was enough for me. LOL
Tried Eve, was totally lost the entire time. All I managed to master was piloting to asteroids, mining them and heading to the closest star base to sell my wears. So I kinda gave up on it, looks good if you can figure it all out.

Also looking forward to Star Trek Online, still on the fence to pre-order or not. I keep saying i'll wait but then I hit the game forums and videos and the need to pre-order keeps coming back. :D

Same here, I played WoW up to AQ40 (man I missed 40 man raids). I was lucky enough to get the second Thunderfury in my guild at the time. Crafting it took forever though, and shortly after quit the damn game.
I am back though, this time taking it slow. I am only lvl 41, and i've been leveling soley through random dungeon's which is taking forever.

Eve is daunting to say the least, I installed it yesterday and got lost immediately. I need to really sit down and learn this game, but I would rather spend the time in another mmo such as WoW or Star Trek which I was shocked is right around the corner!

Played the Dark Void demo on PS3 this weekend. The flying and air combat is pretty solid. The on ground cover/shoot system works pretty good too. But what was missing from this pretty short demo was any taste of the "vertical combat" they keep yammering on about with this game. If it's so fantastic why is it missing from the demo? Overall gameplay was good but the demo did not really wow me. :|

I am not a big fan of robot enemies. I would have liked it better if the bad guys were humanoids. Even if they are uniformed like Combine soldiers or Helghast or something. I just feel like robot enemies are way too generic.

The music is everything you would expect from Bear McCreary as it sounds just like an episode of BSG. :)

Oh and for you Uncharted fans... the lead character is voiced by Nolan North aka: Nathan Drake, lol. That was a bit weird as I literally just finished Uncharted like a week ago. On an upside the voice acting in Uncharted is fantastic so at least the lead will be good in this.

Can't bloody wait for BF:BC 2, I loved the first one, was going to buy an Xbox just to play it! Then found out it was coming out on PC, very happy about that.

With regards to Eve, I did the same thing, started the trial, got quite overwhelmed by it all! Ended up doing the initial missions and some mining, then life got in the way and before I knew it, the trial was over. Its definetly a game that needs to be played as a member of a corporation! I regret not getting involved with a corporation earlier, can be a big eye opener to the possibilites the game can offer.

That brings me to the next game I can't wait for, Jumpgate Evolution. Was meant to release Q3 - 4 last year, but got pushed back for various reasons. Will be essentially a MMO Freelancer. Can't wait. Now that has been delayed most likely till the middle of the year at the earliest, I might give EVE another crack.

AvP is high on my list as well, along with Napoleon Total War.
