I was not really hunting for deals nor planning to spend any money but I still had a few good ones cross my path that I took advantage of.

On the Steam Deals I saw Orcs Must Die for like $4.00 so that was a must get since I like the TD genre and that game has good ratings.

Next day I came across the BF3 & Batman Arkham City for $25.00 on Origin so I went and got Batman.

Later that same day from one of the key sites saw Dead Space 2 for like $10.00 for an Origin key, I really liked the first one so I also got this.

So all in all walked away with 3 new games for about $40.00

So what did you guys get?

Only grabbed the extra DLC for Deus Ex Human Revolution because of it being 50% off its regular price.
Skyrim will keep me entertained on PC and Goldeneye 007: Reloaded will serve my 4 player splitscreen needs. xD

I got the 3 pieces of DLC for FO:NV that I was missing for ~$4 and I got Orcs must Die + DLC for ~$6 on Steam. I got SWAT 4:Gold on D2d for $16 with their 20% off everything Black Friday coupon. I also got Postal 2 for $5 on GOG but that sale isn't really a Black Friday/Thanksgiving sale.

I haven't bought anything yet and I think I'll save it for GOG's Christmas sale. All these other games go on sale often enough and some of them will go lower so I can wait until I can get around to playing them.

Highly recommend this game since it's so much fun and you're in an open world.

Am I the only one who gawked at La Noire for $25 and snatched it up right away over the holiday sales?  Love my Rockstar games, I mean they're entertaining and loaded with value (Loads of playtime within, you just always get your moneys worth and at $25 you definitely get your moneys worth)

I actually have not looked into La Noire to see what its all about. But I have a few other games I need to beat first before I get another. I have not beat GTA4 yet, nor Mafia 2 (Mafia 2 not Rockstar but seems similar to me)

    Definitely worth 25 bucks, though.

Dragon Age 2. Picked it up for $9.99 from Origin and got a $10 Origin coupon code valid during December 2011. You do the math...I got the game for free.

Only five minutes into it, and while this may make me a heretic, I'm enjoying it more than Dragon Age: Origins. The combat is much more dynamic and interesting, and I like having a voiced protagonist instead of a mute expressionless protagonist ( LOOK AT ME I'M ONE OF THE TRANQUIL!!! ).

Combat was more interesting, disappointing not to have dual wielding warriors though, but the lack of any real differences in the area you explore will quickly become tiring. When you have gone through "The Bone Pit", I believe, for the 6th time you will understand.

I picked up FO: NV+DLC for about 20 all told. Mass Effect 2 for 5 I believe and The Witcher for 2 dollars. Still hoping for a bit more of a sale on Bulletstorm, but will likely pick it up if the price doesn't change by the end of the sale.

Mass Effect 2 is my favorite game of the past five years and is a contender for my favorite game of all time. I paid full price for it and think it was worth every penny; for $5 it's a steal. After you beat the game, save your character for importing into Mass Effect 3!

Just LA Noire so far. I wouldn't have been able to resist getting The Witcher 2 at half off if I didn't already own it.

Well, assuming you buy something else off of Origin sometime soon, which I guess works...

DA2 does indeed have more "heft" to its combat in that things seem to hit harder, and combat flows a lot quicker, but it's also lost a lot of its tactical aspect. I chalk a good part of that up to that ed camera.

None so far. Heard LA Noire was DRM troubling and nothing else was interesting to me, had a good price for it still or I had it already...

Waiting for the Holiday Sale instead for Steam...

Update on my purchase: I bought Super Mario 3D land for the 3DS and that game is even more addictive than Skyrim. :O
Kudos to Nintendo for actually making a game that uses the 3D feature for something other than eye candy.

But il probably jump on Skyrim later, cant let them dirty Stormcloaks win. :3

I preordered my PayDay: The Heist copy so if you want we can play some matches.
Im 1 hour ahead of UK so should not be a problem getting a match up.

That reminds me I need to play the new Zelda game on Wii.

<3 all Zelda games, may even have to hunt for a cheap 3DS so I can play any new Zelda games on there as well. Sad to buy a console for one game :( Id like the Mario game too though.

Deagle I beat single player BF3 we need to beat the co-ops together soon.

Only noteworthy 3DS games this year is the Ocarina of Time remake (Timeless classic), Super Mario 3D Land (3D is actually worth it in this title) and ofc Mario Kart 7 (runs at 60fps).
Il also get 10 awesome GBA game downloads too as part of the Ambassador programme.

But sure we can do some BF3 coop.
Add me on battlelog and Origin.
    (You know my user id)

Il be on Skype if you need me as its 1am atm.

Skyward Sword mskes full use of the WiiMote and Motion+ so now we got the precision needed for awesome swordplay.

Well got a few (more than I was planning!)..

Witcher 2 (Steam for around £15 something)
Medal Of Honor (the Tier 1 thingy) £3.25 from direct2drive (and activated through origin.
    Crysis 2 (Origin, £7.50)

Already had Arkham City on pre-order (and the damn thing hasnt turned up yet!) and still trying to get more game time on BF3 and Skyrim. I need more time to play these games!
