I'd like to know now that the card is official who is selling the 8800GTX individually. Obviously, my machine was made for this card and not the one that's currently occupying it. I bought my machine from RJtech. Maybe they'd give me a discount for an upgrade?

How much is the 8800GTX worth?

Any place that would take the 8700m?

Sager and other Clevo resellers will have trade-in or upgrade promotions for those that want the new card.

The pricing is not finalized just yet though, but expect the 8800M GTX to cost at least $500.

So RJTech would definitely be included?

    Thanks.

and what about other brands? who has bought a notebook with a MXM type III "upgradable" graphic card and can't buy a new one and upgrade it? Put the notebook manufactures into court.

Is it easy to update the grphx card yourself or is it better to send your comp into the pros?

I highly doubt that upgrading the graphics card yourself will be easy (if your notebook can upgrade GPU that is), so sending to upgrade - if this is an option whichever company you bought your notebook from offers - would be ideal.

I don't think it will unless Dell offers to upgrade the notebook.
