    First please do not repost.
Any one is ok, expect x2300, completely useless.
to play fear with good quality get the go 7900gs.
with medium settings 7600 and x1700 is more than enough.

Well it's a totally different question really so i don't consider it a ""repost" One question was asking which card would perform better in a different OS enviorment. This one is asking which hardware is superior given no OS difference. Seeing as how Vista can make a 10-15% difference in gaming performance i think the questions are substantially different.....at least enough i thought to make another thread Sorry if you disagree.

I would go with the 512MB Go7600, just make sure it has 512MB dedicated and not 256 dedicated and 256 hyper. The only 7600 with 512 MBs that I know of is the larger HP notebooks, so definitely check on it.

I would not tuch the x2300 if you plan on gaming much(its a lowwww end card) the X1700 is fairly close to the 512 go7600 but a little behind. 512MBs will help a little with feature games.

I would go with the x1700, its better than the 7600go which would never take advantage of the 512mb of memory.

The x1700 out performs the 7600 by a little bit so if around same price go for that considerthe x1600 256mb also it is pretty close to 7600go
should be able to play halflife +Fear med-High grfx on 7600 or x1700 petty well

I agree take the X1700go as the memory difference between 256mb -512mb does not matter between the mid-range cards.

FEAR should run great on an X1700 on high settings with shadows dropped down and no AA.

HL2 or any source based game should run maxed out with AA and AF.
