I am looking for a software that displays CPU/GPU info like usage, temp in game. I have been using rivatuner for my 9800M gs for years and it serves the purpose very well, unfortunately it stopped developing and doesn't work for ATI cards.

Anyone with ATI cards can shed some light on this matter? Thanks!!

If you want numbers only then HWmonitor is good. If you want graphs then SpeedFan is good (but you can only monitor 1 at a time, such as temperature or voltages).

    Hope it help :)

I wish HWmonitor had an easy desktop gadget. It's tiring of having to run it every time I bootup

He's asking for this stuff in game.

MSI Afterburner has an on-screen display that gives readouts on various GPU-related stats, like temperature, load, clocks, and so on.

Nothing CPU-related comes to mind, though.

@ alexmuw: yes I know it, it is quite useful and sad it has not an automatic loading.

@ Forge: upsss, I misread the part of in game.

Thanks, forge, MSI afterburner works fine, if it only come with CPU load/temp, that would be perfect.

Can't you schedule a task in Windows to start HWMonitor on startup?

Yes, just make a shortcut to the .exe of the program you wish to start when windows boots. Then drop that short cut into the "startup" folder on your startmenu.

I used this when I had my m15x for the stealth indicator program. Worked perfectly.

For gadgets I use GPU Observer and IntelCoreSeries, from Orbmu2k

Use the latest version of the RivaTuner Statistics Server, which is what powers MSI Afterburner's On Screen Display.

You can even install MSI afterburner and just replace the RTSS folder with the new RTSS beta.

Then, while that's running, download HWInfo32 or HWInfo64. in the Sensors tab, go to configure and you can select any of the sensors to be in RTSS's on screen display. You can even change of the names of the sensors to match what you want to appear on screen.

This setup works very well. I have GPU Temperature, usage, and clocks as well as CPU temps and usage displayed ingame.
