    Has anyone ever played this ? Using Vista that is.

    http://sfront.ijji.com/ ---> link to game.

    Its a free FPS Counter Strike-like game, very new...its in the Beta Test right now. You can download straight from their site, the file is 250MB.

    But about 2-3 hrs after i installed and played it, something came up with Vista, saying that I had to do the Validation test to see if the windows is genuine or not, saying that it might be compabilities issues with some programs.

    I'm wondering if its the game thats cuasing this.

    Anyone else in the same boat?

    I am, I installed it last night, and vista came up this morning in my second game today, probably 5th in total, saying Vista wasn't activated, when I just typed my new out of the box product key into vista last night. I restored my system, and now I guess vista users are screwe for playing Sfront...

    seeing as how I just signed up so i could write this, if you'd like me to see something, email me at [email protected].

    Later,

    I found the problem. Its gameguard thats not compatible with Vista yet, so just uninstall sfront and it should be fine. or just restart everytime after youve played sfront.

    u can google "windows vista validation" and it'll come up with alot of solutions, you're not screwed.

    hope that helps!
