Splinter Cell series. All four games were amazing. Splinter Cell Conviction is coming out at the end of the year.

    Tomb Raider: Legends
    Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Both are fantastic and the best in the series ;)

Are you kidding? I tried this game... boy did it suck :\

Yes Splinter Cell 1 & 2 are quite good. 3 is been there done that. 4 is mixed review from me. When it worked it was alright but a bit of a yawn. I think these games are much better on console IMO.

Yes, Max Payne 1 and 2 (officially know as The Fall of Max Payne). The best 3rd person shooter game I've ever played. That combination of pain, sadness, hatred and love I saw in this game is fantastic.

I thought Mafia was horrible. Especially when comparing to The Godfather, which was much more fun. (On 360, don't think it's on PC)

I will really recommend max payne series awesome game.
I'm not sure if you've played but RE 4 on PC is a lot of fun and vivid graphics with mods, same as Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 on PC.

I second RE4. It is one of my favorite games of all time if not my favorite. Although I haven't played it on the computer I owned it on the Gamecube and still ownt it on the PS2 and beat it at least 5 times. IMO its shooting controls are the best out there (I know some people that hate that you can't walk and shoot but it adds so much to the game when you have multiple enemies coming at you and a couple of misses or bad shot placements will get you killed), when it came out I was blown away and the only other game that has come out since it that I enjoy really just playing was Gears of War. BTW from the teasers I've seen RE5 only looks to improve (couldn't tell much but at the end of the E3 teaser looked like some great gunplay).

ermmm, i may get mocked for this, but i dont care, jade empires available off steam, it was quite good graphically, and quite good gameplay, i quite liked it tbh, it burned some time in that regards, didnt make you love it, didnt make you go "oh wow", but it didnt make you think "this is crap", it just flowed.

Resident Evil 4... by far one of the best games made in the past 3 years.
I loved it enough to not only buy it on the GC but also on the Wii (the wii mote makes it sooooo amazing). It's got extremely high re-playability as well.

As others have mentioned, max payne is really good.

Isn't Shadowgrounds decent? I haven't tried it but it's supposed to be fun, and have fairly low system requirements.

I loved the 4th Splinter Cell because you had to do so much in so little time. You were working for the bad guys, but you did undercover missions for the NSA; it was quite exciting. Plus the game played out differently depending on the path that one took. SC4 is good for both consoles and PC; I would not consider it to be better for the consoles.

    AGREED!!!

Eevn though RE4 is a great games, it was a horrible port for the PC. no mouse support?!?!? That's ridiculous!

Well, the movie should be nice, but Mark is not the Max Payne I`d choose.
It needs to be a 30-40 year old man, with a grave voice and pretty monotonous, and have the looks also. Mark is too much of a pretty boy.
I`d go for Vin Diesel ... :D Of course, with hair. The voice would fit PERFECTLY !
