While this is a real weapon, (and one I would love to own), it will also be cool when we see this killer firearm begin to surface in first-person shooter games.

LOL pretty OT, but we've already had this for a long time, it's called aimbot.
-
Ha. Maybe in a single player game, shooting bots, but we already have this in Titanfall with the auto-pistol. But this is way more OP considering its range. Sniping in BF4 is already an easy shot, I can't imagine a dozen campers with a gun like this. Lock target and shoot and bam.

Here's something even more cool: Hotshot! DARPA Tests Self-Guided Bullets That Hardly Ever Miss - NBC News. Are skilled marksman are a thing of the past...in the near future?
The second video is just as cool, but I've known about that for a while now. Pretty soon we'll all be passengers. -
I saw a similar firearm at Titanfall or did I just mistook it for another gun?
J.Dre, was that self-guided bullets act like the ones I see from the Wanted flick?Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
No, lol. That movie was shooting "guided" bullets based on some kind of force that these people had. A special ability, if you will. DARPA is working on bullets that act like guided missiles. They have tiny microchips built into them (infrared laser guided), as well as tiny fins that allow them to turn/change direction mid-flight.

More like from the 1984 Tom Selleck movie "Runaway"
