Hey Guys,
I am not sure if this belongs here but I finally got my Sony PSP 1000K Video Review done. I go over the features and play Ridge Racers in the video. It is a big one! 20MB. You can view it directly at my site: www.kurnspatrick.com or via directly here:
www.kurnspatrick.com/movies/psp.wmv It is best to go to my site directly as the direct link will surely change.
As always, please dont expect much as it is long on tooth and short on style. However, it should be helpful for anyone considering this device.
All I can say is that I loved the PSP. The Nintendo DS seem like it is 10 years out of date next to the PSP.

he does sound like a geek, but he knows what he's talking about. Dang, that's way better than I expected. It's about as fast as a PS2.

***The DS isnt THAT bad, but i still dont like it and i dont like nintendo. I personally think their games like Mario are too kiddish. The Cons of a DS:
64 Graphics
2 screens,Bluetooth/Wifi, whats the deal with that!?!?!?! I mean, like I said, mostly 8-10 year olds play nintendo/gba/ds and what 8-10 year old kid knows what Wifi and bluetooth is, or what instant messaging is, or that you can play multiplayer wirelessly.
2 screens are messed up: to be playing and fiddling with the Stylus at the same time...[?]
Oh and that brings me to another question, does the PSP have Bluetooth or WIFI? Sorry if I missed it in the video. -
Wow that is better than i thought. I mean, I knew from the start that the DS belonged to the Trash pile but i didnt think the PSP would be that good! I didnt know it had the R's and the analog, thats sweet. The screen is huge. Hey Lawrence, is the graphics really is good as it looks. It looks better than the graphics my PS2 has. The car was all smooth and shiny. A few questions though, what if the PC doesnt have one of those stick slots. Does the PSP have a built in HD or is it only the 1.8 gb umd? Whats the whole deal with transfering stuff...Do you transfer to the Stick and then the PSP transfers it to a UMD or something? I don't understand that part.

and one more thing i forgot to say. Definetaly aggreed with pupp3t mast3r...XBOX RULES!!!! (and PSP rules portables)...

yeah, its cool, but the whole consept of UMD sucks, it should play regular ps2 games and regular DVD's not that sony monitered stuff.
