    At least in the U.S. the AR comes with an 8400M-GT GDDR3 card if I'm not mistaken.

    That's unusual, I would have assumed the specs for US-bound machines are always the most advanced for any region. I will probably look at the machine myself in person on Tuesday so if it is true I can confirm it. Of course this only benefits potential buyers in the Chinese mainland.

    Sony website for China backs up the video card change, a shame the system only comes with 1GB RAM and is a 17" model making it very heavy for most consumers.

    Confirmed. Shanghai Best Buy branch in Xujiahui (徐家汇). Most other branches don't stock it yet but the specs are as stated on the Sony website and the price guide I mentioned earlier.

    The biggest drawback: Maximum support RAM 2GB! :confused:
