Anybody know how the display is with the ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4570 -> HDMI out to a 1080p tv?

It would be awesome to set the notebook next to my tv and play wirelessly

    Thanks!

What do you mean how is it? It just plain works, wont get any better can only be worse (not work).

Running a game at a higher res reduces over all performance, thoug if you just want to play on the tv then you dont have to have the res at 1080P you can play it at the same res you play comfortably on the computer any decent 1080P tv will display a game at 720P very well, as any game console owner lives with on a day to day basis.

As far as normal desk work the card will easily do your normal routine at the res of the tv. I also observed no difference in graphics benching the built in screen, vga out or hdmi out at the same res, not that i expected to.

The concern should purely be how is the GPU for your games and not the hdmi out which affects almost nothing.
