If it runs, it won't run well. I would recommend at least a second gen Core i5 CPU and at least an nvidia 540m or AMD 6650 if you want it to run smoothly on any settings. i3 and GMA graphics will be a horrible experience.

Hi there, I have run Skyrim on my M11x R3 using the I5 ULV and HD 3000 which will have similar performance.

I managed to get a constant 20-30fps by running it at 1366x768 at all low settings. Forget adding any mods and the distances will need to be kept low.

On my 540M GT I can get a solid 25-30fps with high settings and AA off with a ton of mods at 1080p which even I was pretty suprised at.

You really want to look at a 640/650M as your minimum if you intend to game properly, unless you just want to play skyrim and league of legends :) any dedicated card should be able to do the job.

I would not always go by a website because the HD 3000 can run many games that Yougamer.com and Pcrequirements say it cannot, it really comes down to your preference because games that run at 30fps and all low and off at 720p can still run.

The majority of the games I run on my ULV and 540M GT websites say it cannot handle it and I run them at 1080 med-high settings getting 30fps.

You really want a dedicated card for gaming however.

The recommended settings are usually when you can play the game on Normal or Medium graphics.

So low is playable.. but no recommended if you want a good experience.
