I saw a topic about this game a while ago, but it quickly disappeared because of the low number of replies toward the topic.

Is this game really bad? I heard many people were complaining about the performance hit for the pc version. How 'bout the patch? Does the patch improve the general performance?

For those who own the game....do u guys think that a 8600m GT is sufficient to run this game? Thanks

Well... I have a reason for asking about it here. First of all, I am quit aware that there are a lot of reviews about the game already, however... a review based on personal experience on a specific system is almost non-existant. Those reviews that you mentioned probably are from IGN or Gamespot. I am not against those websites anyway, but lately I found that they have been doing a lot of lazy reviews. They just copy and paste their reviews for a specific console and then apply it to the rest (just change the console name on the review, and even use the same screenshots for all three consoles and PC). Those reviews are made based on a high end desktop set up that most of us do not have, which is in my opinion quite pointless... but here in notebookreview there are lot of users that have a similar setup that might have played the game on their systems. You know... mid-range notebook GPUs like 8600m GT and 9600m GT are the two most commons GPUs that people have here, so people will probably give opinion based on the systems with those GPUs.

To be honest with you, I don't believe those kinda websites that can analyze your system's spec and decide if you can play the game or not... they are basically just comparing your spec with the min requirement given by the developer very roughly. For example, a 8400m GS according to them can't play Crysis.... and they were wrong.
