Last night we were in the United States @ the Video Game Awards, where the best releases of 2010 get some extra attention . Traditionally, the VGA's are also a time for developers and publishers to show why 2011 (or 2012) will be better and looks they went all out this time.

RESISTANCE 3
Playstation 3 owners can rejoyce, because one of their platform-exclusive franchises is back. The existence of 3 Uncharted we told you a few days ago, so this time we are talking about nothing less than Resistance 3, some months ago, a teaser was released. This first-person shooter picks up where it left off in 2008 by Insomniac.
People who expect better times now an agreement was reached at the climate summit in Cancun, I must disappoint. Resistance 3 presents us with a vision in which mankind increasingly difficult to defend the Earth against the alien Chimaera. Though all hope seems lost, you can buy the game on September 6, 2011 and resist the end.

SSX Deadly decents
Many will no doubt have fond memories and it is strange that EA waited five years before they announced a true sequel. The bullet is through the church (so we say in belgium) and the fifth game in this popular franchise is a fact. This was announced at Spike's Video Game Awards on the basis of a still rather weird trailer. A release date has not yet been announced.

I was expecting God of War or Black Ops for Game of the Year.
I liked the Batman promotion as well as the Prototype 2. -

I find the Spike Video Games Awards so blah. Just a much of meh big name games. What's the point of a most anticipated game award? High frive marketing team?
