I have spend nearly 3 days googling and reading posts, going out of my mind trying to find the answer to my problem.

I bought Splinter Cell double Agent a few days ago, I installed it and it starts and everything but as soon as the actual mission or anything In-Game starts the graphics look totally F-ed up. There are no walls or textures, just empty space, characters are all invisible except Sam Fisher who looks like a silhouette, and transparent. Theres a lot of smoke, and what sort of looks like a surface representing smoke. It's impossible to navigate in he virtual world since I cant identify or see any surface properly. It works with Heat vision and the Electrical currant vision, but its hard to play though a game like that. You cant even see which way NPCs are facing.

Anyway, the lat 3 days I've been googling and tried practically every solution that others have tried. Nothing has worked.

    My specs are:
    Zepto Znote 6625WD
    Windows Vista Business 32-bit
2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    2GB RAM
    nVidia GeForce 8600M GT

I installed nVidia Forceware drivers 163.69. I updated Splinter Cell with the latest patches. I tried his fix: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1171571&postcount=447
It didn't wor, but then again, I'm not 100% sure I did it right. I tried the -LL thing, also didn't work. I would try disabling AA, but I don't know how, the option doesn't exist in the game settings.

I payed for this game, I want it to work. I don't have this problems with any other of my games I did however have it with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. I simply got rid of it and installed the first GRAW instead of the sequel.

Does anyone know anything about this, I really dont want to return the game. I know my computer CAN play this game, but something is just horribly wrong.

WoW, previously I changed to drivers 163.69, which were newer than th ones I had. And it didn't help, so I didnt think that was the problem. Now I updated to 167.43 and it worked :D

    Thanks a lot!
