I have Spore for my Dell xps m1530 laptop with nvidia geforce 8600, 4gb ram and 2.5 ghz dual core processor. When I have the game set to high on all settings the game lags a little, I thought this laptop is way over the recommended specs. Does anybody else see this problem?

FWIW--"Recommended" specs don't usually signify the reqs for running everything on high. They usually signify whats needed for a decent framerate @ med settings

Also just what are Spore's recommended reqs?---all I see listed everywhere are the minimum reqs.

That said, it's kind of unfair to expect max settings (especially native res + max AA) on modern titles out of a 1 & 1/2 year old mid range card.

recommended specs are usually for a desktop machine, laptop specs for gaming have to be taken with a pinch of salt, especially as the laptop equivelant of VGA chipsets are usually cutdown from thier desktop counterparts.
