Just doing my duty spreading word about an upcoming game, created by the person responsible for the first PC Game I ever played. That's right, the original Wing Commander of 1990.

If you have any interest in fully simulated physics, space combat, real working economies, boarding enemies' ships, player vs. player combat, space exploration, landing on planets, mining or discovering hidden caches in asteroids, or using magnetic boots for outside-the-ship fighting.... this is the game for you!

The community has spoken so far, nearly to the tune of $4 Million dollars, with that nearing goal bringing a big set of features for the game.

Why buy now and not later? Well, even the lowest tier ($35ish) gets you the game for half of its retail price and lifetime insurance on the ship you choose, so it can never be lost. Also, play the game's beta in about a year, as opposed to waiting for release in late 2014/early 2015. Take a look, I think you'll be impressed. The game is not designed for the faint of heart, or the faint of computer system :)

If you pledge, use my referral link and we both score extra in-game credits, plus chances to win actual gear to play the game:
Star Citizen | Roberts Space Industries

Note, the following video is actual game-play footage, he's been working on it for a year:

Best regards & hope to see you in space,

Ah thanks and good to see you, if you're the same HTWingNut from RSI.com

Yeah didn't spend time doing an extensive search and I haven't posted here in a long time-- just decided I was going to spread the word these last couple days, making sure some topics were front n' center at the appropriate forums where I had accounts to give us the best Star Cit possible.

They made it worth my while to help them out w/ the referral stuff.

    See you there HT--

    Wingnut is legendary :D

I really want to get in on this; the game is looking incredible. Payday is on the 22nd, so I need to check up on when funding ends. Hope I get a chance to contribute.
