All that I am asking is are there going to be anymore Star Wars games? This applies to all systems. I was thinking there will be light saber games for the wii. But we all know the the best games are on the PC. Also wondering where can I get the old games? I was wondering about the one with the Tie fighters where you verse the X wings.

Lucasarts is planning to release a game uniquely for next-gen consoles called The Force Unleashed. This is widely assumed to be similar in gameplay to the Jedi Knight series of the past.

The old games are usually available in stores in a bundled package now, on the cheap. Or, you can get them online.

Thanks for the response. Can you name some websites. (Some trustworthy places) to buy the old games.

I really want a really good Star **** game developed. One that like pretty much immerses me in the environment, as previous ones have failed to do that for me. :/

The Forced Unleashed is supposed to be like Jedi Powers on crack. I think I've seen movies of one jedi blowing away 50+ guys.

I strongly agree with you Kierkes! The best one for me was Rogue Squadron 3D that is really old but I would still play it if I did not loose the CD. :( :( :( :( :(

Wouldn't it be more fun to simply learn fencing or martial arts? :p

I still have memories of the very first X-Wing though...ahh nostalgia..

There is a trailer out that that shows the (I think)"apprentice" from The Force Unleashed pulling a Star Destroyer out of the sky and crashing it into the surface of a planet that looks like Coruscant.

From the interviews I've seen, it appears that anytime the Development team has a meeting, the lead dev asks "What is the core gameplay?" and the rest of the team chants "To kick someone's but with the force!".

Yea, I'm excited about that. The chance to play an evil character is a huge plus. Light-side force powers are lame. The darker side of the story is always so much more interesting.

Sweet, although if you read the books in the SW universe that are considered canon, that feat isn't so extreme. I think Luke Skywalker and Jacen got to the point where they could probably do that without even blinking :p

EXACTLY why I loved the game where you play on the TIe fighter side. I believe the game was called Star Wars TIE fighter any clues. There was also another PC Star Wars classic called Star Wars Rebal Assault 2 I played that so long ago it got a 10 on graphics in most websites because they used filming instead of graphics so everything looked real. Except the star craft parts because those parts where made on a computer(most Definitely not a laptop ;) ;) ;) ;) :)).

I hope that George Lucas makes even more Star Wars movies. There are so many books about the time after Return of the Jedi that I hope they make the movies on KNights of the old Republic those would be great!

I make it a point not to read anything related to Luke in the expanded universe stuff. I could care less about his mental anguish and internal conflict.

Edit: I don't mean to say that I don't like reading about mental anguish and internal conflict, I just don't care for his particular brand of it.

The X-wing series rocked though. I've always been more interested in the "space opera" side of things than the Force. I mean, Sith and dark lords make awesome enemies, and having the Jedi around to help out is nice in a pinch, but when it descends into "Oh I can't get angry or I will fall to the dark side" territory I just get annoyed.

I'm going to stop right there before I get attacked by legions of rabid fans. ;)

"X-Wing verus Tie Fighter" has to be one of the most amazing games ever created! Well... at least I enjoyed it greatly and probably spent too much time playing it in my younger days...

But yeah, does anybody know a good website to get old games? I would especially like to buy Podracer, as I lost the CD a while back and have not been able to find the slightest trace of it :(. It was amazing... (probably the only racing game I have ever really played and enjoyed!).

You know that there was a sequel to podracer on the ps2... But I heard it sucks tho. Also, I hope they are going to make another Rouge Squadron game, because I loved it on the gamecube and n64, but not some much the last rouge game because I did not enjoy the ground missions...

I had that Pod racer game and I played it last year till I lost the CD too. I played the game on one of my friends Gameboys and it was horrible. The game was in TOP view and the Graphics suck!
