    Does anyone still play this online? I'm considering buying it, but I only will if people still play it online. Ive got it for the xbox and love it, but dont want to have to pay to play online. Also, is there a reason this game isn't on steam but the second one is?

    the first one did have some maps that I missed in the second one, but overall,theres really no reason to pick the first one over the second

    It's one of the games I will never stop playing.

    I play alot of skirmishes mostly. I tried multiplayer several times and I didn't really like it. If you're playing Jedi vs Jedi, everyone on the Sith picks Darth Maul b/c he's overpowered compared to the others. As for troops+jedi's, it's not that bad, but you might rage from getting spawn killed excessively. :p

    Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent game that I love with all my heart, but they didn't do a really good job on multiplayer.

    I await Battlefront 3! Someone leaked footage on YT of BF3 using their smartphone to record, but I think it got deleted due to TOS.

    Unfortunately, Battlefront 3 isn't going to happen... Dunno what LucasArts was thinking, they would make a fortune.
