Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMORPG) - Beta Test Signups Now

Ok guys,

Exciting news for the videogame world. The most anticipated MMORPG for the PC (no, not Final Fantasy XIV Online)… I mean Star Wars: The Old Republic will be at the stage to need a lot of beta testers.

If you feel you have what it takes to help make this game a great as it can be before it goes retail, come and join the beta.

Or if you just want to try out the game at its pre-release stage of development, you can come as well… but seriously, report any bugs or issues to help out the developers.

This was offered about a month ago now, but i'm sure that won't matter about signing up.

 

When they first started the beta sign-up, the servers were down for a good 12 hours.

 

I already posted this like the day after it started. Well good to see it again anyway.

 

Beta signup did start about a month ago... but I was sent a supplemental message (from the media/press boards) to get the word out some more.

... I think they are looking for more testers... or specific ones.

 

is there any way NBR forum members can get a hookup for beta?? ::wink wink::

 

I signed up literally a month ago with the rest of the fan/nerds.

 

Look buddy just because I'm a huge Star Wars geek and have every movie on my ipod touch and can recite the words back for IV, V, and VI does not mean you can call me a fan/nerd and get away with it.

You do realise people who present false claims may have the FBI, NSA, CIA, MIB knocking on your door...

I think they're trying to get people with powerful enough or alt computer setups. I don't think my T61p is powerful enough

I signed up a while ago. This is my MOST anticipated game. I look forward to Mass Effect 2... but SW:TOR is in a whole other category of DO WANT!

 

The picking process is still underway.

I do not think they have chosen any one specifically yet.

 

Well I hope I get chosen as a high-end rig, I really would love to test the beta.

 

I turn 18 pretty soon so.....yea and look at my setup? I think I can play this game at max settings easily

 

I'm betting my 1 1/2 year old desktop will eat this game. If not then it's time for a 5870!

 

Game looks sweet... this or STO for sure..

 

This game will not have extreme system requirements.
