There's been some discussion in the Alienware M18x forum about starting a NBR friendly guild for TOR. If you are interested in this, please post here. Also looking for guild name ideas.

I'd be interested, but I'm still hesitant on getting the game.
-
More interested in Rage ! Tired of Biocraps so called RPG's !
-
Everything I've seen from this game development has been disappointment and fail.
I hope it crashes and burns. -

I may be interested, thinking about picking up the game.

I'll get it when the first month box drops to around $20 or so. $60 and then $15 per month is pretty ridiculous for an MMO that could easily go the way of WAR or FFXIV. Tired of being an early adopter (otherwise known as a paying beta tester).

Unfortunately, it looks like Bioware isn't quite as adept at marketing/PR as the boys over at ArenaNet. While anticipation of GW2 has been slowly and steadily building, TOR's fans have been gradually dwindling in number, at least from my perspective.
I'm still gonna buy it, though. I don't care if DA2 was different from DAO; Bioware still gets all my babies. -
The minute this became a MMORPG, I had lost hope for Bioware all together of this game.
Make it free to play then it will change completely, best MMORPG game ever. -
I hope this game crashes and burns and maybe then BioWare will realize gameplay matters. ME2, DA2, and now this. Voice acting and game movies don't cut it, that's boring. ME2, DA2, Star Wars far as I'm concerned are just interactive movies with overhyped marketing and voice acting.
ArenaNet doesn't have to market GW2. The game videos and previews they have shown are stunning all their own. And GW has had a massive following for nearly a decade. And it's the most attractive offering to many who are tired of MMOs with monthly fees but not much substance. GW series has always been a one time fee and play with excellent game balances. It's built a reputation where skill matters more, not how many times you spammed 1234 over and over and how much time you wasted. These are things that I can already see that Star Wars will fail at. That game will be about who plays the most, monthly fees, with little substance since BioWare/EA will have spent all their budget on voice acting and marketing.
ArenaNet is also a proven company that knows how to create MMO games. BioWare is not and BioWare has only proven they no longer exist. It's just a brand name for EA now. -
I will be playing this game but not sure about guilding/grouping with others.
I am such a star wars nerd that I will for sure play at least the 30 days free to try to unlock as much of the story as possible. Having said that I do agree with some of the other posters that this game may be DOA for its end game content.
From what leaks and released info the game does not have alot of depth or fun factor at the end game level capped. No clue myself as I have not gotten any beta invites but it will prob sell millions of dollars of copies at release due to lucas lovers like myself trying for the star wars lore/nerd points but probably wont last to long.
They would need to really work alot more on the content for end game pvp/gearing/advanced progression for this to have legs. So far its sounding a bit hollow after level 50. -

You can hit me up in game. I'll be in Starfleet Dental though which now is like the 2nd largest Republic guild with 320+ members.
Guild names I won't be using but good for roleplay sillyness:
Republic:
Justice League
Super Best Friends
Saved by NBR
Jedi Business:Go back to your drinks
Sith:
Deathsticks For All
Poison Dart Frogs
Mind your own Business
Assassins for hire
Betray your master
My Way or the Skyway
Chuba Lovers
I stole your bantha
Tusken Tree Huggers
Too old to complete the Training -
I have this game preordered on amazon. I have always likes Bioware as a game developer.

Im in the closed BETA, now I can't really say anything, but IF you like single-player games than this game has plenty to offer, and becomes even more fulfilling once you group up. The amount of content is almost incomprehensible.
