Hey does anyone remember the use map settings games from starcraft broodwar? You know like the sunken defence, cat and mouse, lord of the rings etc. I was really looking forward to being able to play these mods again since they are what i enjoyed the most...but since there is no map editor this time it isnt looking to good :(

Anyone know if blizzard intend to relase a map editor or add some of these old classics?

Edit: Also missing the ingame lobby where you could chat to everyone :( Seems they have missed out a few things that made online starcraft so much fun. Still loving Starcraft 2 of course but would love to see these things implemented again.

lol? There are tons of UMS maps already. Just click on join game in the multi-player tab. The map editor is called the Galaxy editor.

Well, ordinarily you'd click "Start", then "Programs", then "Starcraft II", and then "Starcraft II - Map Editor".

    Did you see Pitabred's picture?

Yeesh - never thought I'd have to teach someone how to use the Start menu!

Well in the first one you could do it both ways. When you loaded it via the game it closed the game and opened the editor.

The thing with custom games right now is the input delay making custom games experience less enjoyable.
