I agree, you'll always want other units to support the bulk of your masses. I think partially due to how they've defined their units, I find myself often hitting F12 and going to the units section to quickly do some research on what my enemies are getting. Since they have that handy list of all units and what they're strong against and weak against, I feel it's more black and white what works and what doesn't work. If they get zerglings, I'll pump out marines and that might work for a while, but when they get roaches, my marines aren't gonna do crap to roaches with 100+hp and 2 armor. So with this clear border of what works and what doesn't work, if you don't diversify, you can end up getting really screwed.

    Fixed.

I'm missing the old macro days. I loves just keeping my economy online and sending my units to die, with the occasional special ability micro.

I guess that's why I'm liking the other SC2 aa bit more. I'm sure it'll grown on me, though.

1 on 1, the Thor destroys anything on the ground. It has that tech cannon thingy(can use 2 of them fast), and loads of HP to handle it.

Also, the battlecruiser fire rate, from the movies, seems super fast. Is it the same?

yeah, it shoots faster with lower damage per shot, so it's more of a machine gun rather than a shotgun now. Better against tactics like mass hydra/marine/stalkers i guess but worst against armored anti-air
