    Hi everybody,

i'm looking for a new notebook. Since i have also a PS3, i'm doing not a lot of gaming. Now i found a interesting notebook: the Asus U33. It has a i5 450, 4 Gb RAM and a GeForce 310M.
Starcraft 2 is the only game, that has to run on my new notebook. Unfortunately the SC2 beta is over now, i had so much fun. But did anyone of you play the beta with a 310M? I know that it will run, because i can play it on my old notebook. But how well will it run?
It would be great if somebody, with a similar configuration, could tell me the settings he was using.

I haven't played, but reading from what Blizzard has said...

I would think it will be fine. If you need Ultra settings, maybe not, but just play it on default/normal, should be fine. Especially with the lower res on the U33.

I have a U30Jc, and I was able to run the beta at the native 1366x768 at mostly high settings and didn't have any issues. I never played anything but 1v1s, though; larger games may require you to drop some more stuff down to medium.

hey i know this is an old topic, i was googling and came across it. I picked up the U30JC-B1 and was running the 7hr trial for SC2. I played a few 2v2s with graphics on medium, resolution 1360x768 or whatever it is..it ran somewhat smoothly but there was a minor delay when i'd select multiple units etc - ie the cursor would grab units a SPLIT second later than i clicked.

If you can run it on high without issue, i must be doing something wrong. I also watched a youtube vid of a 210m and the guy was running it on medium just fine..

how do i know if my optimus is engaging the 310m? is there any other way to eliminate this delay without turning graphics down to low?

    thanks all
