I just installed my beloved Starcraft and tried to play with some friends. For some reason upon startup i get really choppy graphics. This doesnt occur during gameplay but is really annoying because its in every menu and cutscene. Im running vista 64 with 4gb RAM C2D 2.6 and a nvidia quadro fx570m in a Lenovo T61p

Could be a conflict with Vista video drivers. Are the drivers and game up to date? Or it could be with the codec on the video/reading it from a CD, etc.

If I recall correctly you have to run it in XP compatibility mode and in 640x480 mode. That's how I have to run it in vista and it works fine.
