    I wonder if it's free but requires you to contact Blizzard... That will be one long wait with everyone wanting name changes...

    go to battlenet and login o_o Click Explore, select SC2. Click your name in blue at the right side

    I like the idea of a fixed name but a customizable clan tag sort of like what BattleField uses, you can change you clan tag at any time but your user name remains fixed.

    Im not into a clan but I did start the friends list database witch is sort of the same thing minus the labeling.
