Awwww :( Oh well I'd rather have them take longer to make the game better then to release it all buggy and slowly patch things.

Speaking of Starcraft II has anyone else started playing the first one again? lol a lot of my friends are addicted to it again. xD

It's to be expected. Blizz takes forever to make games, but when they do, it's damn good :p

but it's been in development since 2003... it will be out by next year winter time. All they need to do is to do some balance work between the races, probably work on the mutliplayer and other small things.

I repeat this a lot, but I was a qa tester for starcraft one at blizzard in irvine.

This was like a long time ago and the company has different owners. But we added the entire protoss code and battlenet testing in 3 months.\
Its an interesting story too but i wont get into it. The whole game was complete with 2 races, ready to go. You can even see it in the scenarios that come with the game, they are two race scenarios with the protoss just grafted in

It might seem like it took a long time but when its time blizzard will run 24 hours a day. They have unlimited manpower too they have an intern program with UCI

A guy I tested with is vice president now, or even president probably. He had no qualifications at all he just likes to work 70 hour weeks, so hes an example of something or other.

and an example of the opposite is BC, it's good, but is still a little buggy
