Ok when i go on battlenet and join a new server in which i dont have the required map i always get kickd because my download doesnt start. Sometimes im lucky enough and people wait for my download to start...this usually takes like 5 mins...The thing is ive got a 4MB broadband...so why is my computer/internet taking so long to download the maps online. Its very annoying because it takes me hours to find a map and even if i get on it i lag all the way through it.

    Does anyone know the problem?

check your firewall. It may be preventing you from receiving external files.Allow it through the windows firewall(both incoming and outgoing) in the control panel, or if you use a different firewall, set up permissions for SC BW.

This really should not be an issue, but have you checked your router settings? Blizzard has a guide on their site telling people which ports to open in order to let the game host/download files/ etc.
