Starting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Clan "Flawless", anyone interested?

Hey guys,

I've been playing COD:MW2 now for about a week and a half. I'm not a super serious player (level 44), but I do enjoy playing with a mature group of people more than just by myself all the time. I enjoy communicating with a mic and planning strategies. Anyway, I'm starting my own MW2 clan called "Flawless". I've led other clans before (old school Counter-Strike 1.6 clan for two years). We will be getting a website up, including a forums. I also want it to be a more mature group of gamers who won't argue all the time. lol

One of the tricky things about starting a MW2 clan is that dedicated servers are not supported, which makes lag a bigger deal if you are not located near me. I'm located in Central USA (Texas to be exact). It would be good if you aren't too far away so if we play together lag won't be an issue. The good thing about there not being dedicated servers is that we won't have to pay for a clan server or anything. We can just hop and play together anytime and always face competition. We won't be entering any leagues (at least not at first, but I doubt it that we would enter any leagues later either, but maybe). Basically I'm just looking to find some people to play with on a regular basis who enjoy working as a team.

Requirements to join:
-Be a level 20 or higher (unless special permission is granted)
-Must be 18+ years old (no exceptions unless the person is very mature)
-Is fun to be around
-Has a mic (or will get a mic soon) because we'll want to be able to communicate in game
-Will play at least once or twice a week

For an hour or two, the main thing is that members stay active and don't go awal for months at a time. Know what I mean?

Wow, I didn't think that this little ad would lead to such a big "discussion." How about everybody take a chill pill? Those who don't like how IW handled MW2 can get upset in other threads, just not in this one please (which was posted for the benefit of those who enjoy the game as it was made).

 

Keep the trolling comments to yourselves . . . the OP wants to start a clan, then that's what this thread should be about.

Haha, his last comment did seem a bit out of place when I first read it.

I'd be willing to play some games with you guys- 19, got a mic, level 24 (though I would say I'm below average skill ). Don't really know if I'm fun to be around or not, so we'll see about that. My Steam ID is DARKN16H7 if you wanna add me.

 

Quick question. Do you count prestige as above 20? I'm currently an 18 on my first prestige

I might be interested in playing together but I haven't had a good experience with maturity in clans so I'm reluctant to show full commitment regardless of the user base. Several clans also hate me online when I play against them.......

 

We want to be as good as possible because winning is always more fun than losing, but at the same time we aren't super serious. We'll play some games together and if you can't figure out how to shoot in the right direction (you shoot towards the bad guy!! ), then maybe we'll have some issues. lol

You're free to leave any time you want. We don't require a strong commitment. It's not like you'd have to file divorce papers if you wanted to switch clans, whatever... haha.

I just got l4d2 a couple days after I got MW2. l4d2 is a blast to play! But to me it seems like MW2 has more depth of gameplay. I'll definitely be getting some l4d2 action in every now and then.

Team Leader of Flawless is one hell of a gamer, its tough to keep up. he says casual but he plays till like 2am xD man i gotta catch up

We are still recruiting. We have 14 guys in the clan now and are usually running parties of 6-9 people most nights. It's a lot of fun compared to playing by yourself.
