It doesn't cause problems over here although due to the fact that my notebook is kinda dated (OCed HD5650 and Core i5 560M) I'm limited to medium details.
Still - if anything my system would be maxed out and should be overheating rather than those far more powerful.

I agree that the game doesn't seem to be particularly well optimized but it's not nearly as bad as GTA IV or AC3.

I installed it and played for about 10-15 minutes, on maxed out settings. My temps never went above 67C and my total CPU usage was 36% but all four cores were activated and between 50-60%. I may play more tonight or this week, I'll continue to monitor. Regardless, this game is taking way too many resources. I think if I was playing for an hour(s) I would probably get to 90C

Too bad it looks interesting. From the short amount of time I played I like the gameplay. It's like GTA meets DayZ.

Edit: just played for about an hour. More or less the same CPU usage, blasted my fans and my temp hasn't gone over 60C. Regardless, this game is not well optimized for PC. Maybe that will change since the dev just signed a contract with Microsoft (It is shocking how much better the graphics are on Xbox.). There now working on a full length version codenamed class 4.
