    It seems Valve has to approve it first, so far it seems this app will only allow you to chat with friends and also let you know when you should use your credit card again :p

    I find it funny that a lot of people are giving 1 star reviews cause it's a closed beta and they don't have access. Seriously, some people just complain about anything.

    That's pretty fair. The rating system is there to help people decide whether it's worth it to get an app. Since it has no functionality, it's probably not worth it in its current state.

    I got in (sorry already sent my friend the extra invite they gave me). It is nice to have a client, but it definitely is still a Beta. They don't currently have a "My Games" list or achievements tracking. I would LOVE if it also included a tapatalk style access to their forums.

    I got into the beta last night and so far im really impressed by it.
    Doesent appear to be a ported iOS app either. :D

    Works on my Cyanogen 9 powered Galaxy S 2.

    I don't think anyone got an email. Though if you open steam there should be a message indicating that you got in after a day or so. I never noticed but when I went to play a game I noticed a message notification at the top right of steam.

    yeah saw this thread and was :confused: I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and didn't think anything of it. Seems to work great, has for the last couple of weeks. Didn't need any special invite or anything.
